I know it’s been a while since I last posted, what can I say, it’s the summer, well, the sun calls for me. This photoshoot was super quick and very efficient. I was introduced to Chelsea through Kelly (whom I’ve met through via The Hazelton Hotel). So this is a referral of a referral.
This photoshoot was for a few lifestyle photos and a couple head shots. The great part was that the model wanted something that was very natural with soft lights. Not only was that my aesthetic, I also had a great location for this, my apartment. My apartment, which is a corner suite with floor to ceiling windows, was perfect because there were going to be a lot of outfit changes and constant touch up from the team, so this space was able to provide a comfort that the studio usually doesn’t.
This was a long day for me. I had the call time set at 7 am because I had to catch a flight at 4pm, so everything had to be tightly schedule. We had the hair stylist, Sarah, and makeup artist Taylor start right at 7, and shoot time was at 8:30. This was for sure a well oiled machine. We had about 10 outfit changes and about 7 useable outfits with over 50 images.
As usual, JM was my behind the shoot photographer, these sets of photos were…. different… There were a set of photos that were so out of focus that one of them came out like this:
These photos are different from our usual BTS. You’ll see Chelsea get her hair and her make up done. And all the usual behind the scene antics.
Without further ado, here they are!
Just like my previous post, I’d like to show you how a photo is taken and what the post work looks like.
I’ll keep you posted when these photos are up and cleaned! They’ll be located in the portfolio section, but I will update the link here when it’s ready.
As always, thanks for reading and if there’s anything you’d like to see or see me do, give me a shout and I’ll try to get that done.
